The opportunity - Christmas is all about giving, and giving is winning with Q Card over the festive shopping season. Following on from the success of the colourful character-led Q Card Swipe campaign, the Giving is winning campaign featured short, simple stories starring the most popular characters from the previous series.
The strategy - We created a mix of 15 and 30 second animated ads, forming an online advent calendar that also promoted the great weekly prizes. The digitally led campaign utilised a combination of eDM, display banners, pre-rolls and DM.
The creative - All roads lead to the mobile-optimised advent calendar microsite, where viewers could watch short infotainment videos, have a bit of a laugh, get the message, and find out how to win. The mix of on-going prizes and regular content updates drove a constant loop of engagement over the length of the campaign, supported by Facebook and Twitter activity.
